4 cities, 4 countries, 5 days
This portion of the trip was by far the most rushed part. Some cities were only visited for a few hours, or one day. Plus, we spent more time swimming in rivers and, in my case, battling a wicked hangover (only one of the trip!), and then eating a half kilo of cherries to recover. Therefore, I consider these pics to be the 'quirky' ones, as opposed to the more artistic ones from italy that are up next.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
one street over from our 'hood', the red light district, where no pictures are allowed
Brussels, Belgium
mother of pearl these were good
Munich, Germany
chillin on a curious little mushroom themed fountain
this is the river that we swam in at Englisch park. It was terrifying.
brian's head bobbing, as I nerdily ran to catch up with my camera
about 10 minutes after this picture was taken, this man--who was on his honeymoon--started a fight that would land him in the hospital. I believe he was from Cino, the same town as Ryan from the OC
Bern, Switzerland
switzerland was by far the cleanest, most polite and most organized country we visited
the river aare = great for swimming
a very odd yet voluptuous window display

Oh oh oh paris
As I'm certain I've mentioned, Paris was my favourite city by far. Take a little look, and you will quickly discover why it enamoured me. (Plus it has a massive Sephora).
Paris by day
adornments everywhere
clock tower at the musee d'orsay
view of the city
swarm of tourists around the venus de milo
Versailles
Montmartre
Paris by night
this is where we sat for hours with wine and french music
