date night!

I've never had a "date night" before, but given the stress of finishing up thesis edits, a looming moving date, and the banality of post-Dark Knight life, it seemed as good a time as any to start.

Wine and a sunset rain shower to start.

Then to the Just for Laughs festival...

Which included many a dancing character on stilts,

wandering in a maze made of multicoloured tape,

standing in a smokey crowd to watch a bizarre performance,

and walking through the pedestrian friendly streets of Le Village
There is so much to do for free in this city. In fact, I only spent 7 bucks the whole night, and had a lovely time. We should do this more often!
